Enjoying

The view of millions of lights in the valley below and the sky above.

Screened windows.

The simplicity of doing laundry in my new laundry room.

The thrill that comes every time I look out the windows at our view.

Bringing my grubby little boy in from a mud puddle to a bath in the mud room utility sink.

A little room off of my bedroom that is just the perfect place for my baby to sleep.

The happy, friendly, good neighbors.

The seamless transition that this has been for my children.

Having my home school items right here in my kitchen where they are being loved and used like never before.

All of the great deals I've found at yard sales and on ksl.com.
         couch: $20
         extra fridge: $75
solid wood computer armoire that fits perfectly in my kitchen: $300 (and
         they delivered)
Hand-crafted bunk beds for my girls with bult in dressers, shelves, and
          under-bed drawers: $200
Window seat for my living room: Free hand-me down (Thanks, Mom!)
Large, solid wood entertainment center for family room: $100
Matching wood bookcases for my living room: $100
          Shelf for my bathroom: $5

Clean counters cause there's room for everything to go in a cabinet.

Finding fun and practical ways to organize and put things away.

Having the internet again after a few weeks without it!

  1. So it's the clean counters part that makes me jealous--all the rest of it is just lovely. :)

  2. Amazing deals! I love deals.

I do not under any circumstances want to move out of my house, but if we have to, I think I'd enjoy the resettling aspect. Love organizing.

We need to come visit sometime and see your new lovely home. Complicated, hectic schedule, so let me know when you're up for visitors and we'll see what we can do!

So glad to see you're back online.
