December always goes by too fast, but I love it!
It seems like I haven't listened to enough Christmas music or spent enough time sitting by the tree pondering.
We have made time to make sugar cookies and popcorn cakes. We went caroling and delivered gifts to our neighbors last night. It was bitter cold, but we were bundled up and had a wonderful time.
We all thought it was great that our kitty followed us up to each door.
We had Dallin's sister's family for the weekend to make up for them missing Thanksgiving due to chickenpox. It was fabulous.
We were able to participate in the rebaptism of one of Dallin's good friends from high school. He was baptized by Dallin's brother in-law who also happens to be his best friend. Very sweet experience. We are so happy for that family.
We're working so hard to get all of our family projects done in time for our Giving Day on Thursday. It is getting really fun and exciting. Simon and I worked on his gifts today. Nathan and I worked on his gifts for several hours yesterday and got them all done. Dallin and I have been staying up every night to get our projects done. Two more days, I hope we can make it!
Simon surprised us with the announcement that he hopes Santa brings him a blue robot. Thank goodness there were several varieties of blue robot at the store yesterday. I'm really excited for his big surprise. I haven't really known what to get him. I'm also really glad that there was another option than the giant metal robot that makes obnoxious noises.
The countdown is a lot of fun!
Merry Christmas!
